Forbidden Forest. Surrounding the eastern grounds of Hogwarts, full of dangerous creatures, it is forbidden to all students.

The Forbidden Forest is a large part of the Hogwarts grounds and houses all manner of magical creatures. As groundskeeper, Hagrid is responsible for the welfare of all of the non sentient creatures in the Forest, and his hut is not far from the Forest's edge. The creatures of the forest include unicorns, centaurs, a nest of giant spiders, the Thestrals which pull the Hogwarts carriages and recently Hagrid's 'little' brother Grawp. Assuredly many other beasts roam the Forest, but as yet have not appeared in the Harry Potter Books.
