Quaffle. The bright red football sized ball chased by the Chasers

Quaffle Ball

The Quaffle

Chasers chase after the Quaffle, and then pass it to eachother and try to throw it through the hoops to score a goal, and gain points for there team. Before they can score, they have to try throw the Quaffle past the keeper then hope it goes into one of the three hoops.

The Quaffle is about the size of a football/soccer ball. The beaters try and knock the opponents off their brooms so they drop/lose the Quaffle and to stop them from scoring. Although the Quaffle is important to score lots of points, the game doesn't end until the Golden Snitch is captured.
